50th Anniversary Celebration Oct 2nd

Hello UTC members:

As most of you know by now, UTC is celebrating its 50th year in 2025.

We have been celebrating in many ways all year including a 50th year logo, special recognition from the Ontario Tennis Association and City of Markham at our Opening Day, a 50th fence banner, an 80 person VIP box at the National Bank Open, a writeup in the OTA ONTENNIS magazine and 50th logoed merchandise. 

Now we are going to cap it off with a UTC 50th Celebration Reception

 Many of our great volunteers in the past and present have already agreed to attend including original President, Bob Wilder and former President, Carol Wong whose Volunteer of the Year Award contains a lot of your names. We have more than a dozen former Presidents attending and Mayor Frank Scarpitti is also confirmed to participate. 

We invite you to join the celebration. It promises to be the best UTC party ever and that is a very high bar! See below for some memories of past and recent events.

Where: Fred Varley Art Gallery on Main St, Unionville

When: Thursday evening, October 2 from 6:00pm to 9:30pm. 

Cost: $50 per person (payment by etransfer to payment@unionvilletennisclub.ca)
