UTC Club Tournaments

UTC Tournaments Format

Each Singles, Doubles and Mixed Doubles tournament will be scheduled as separate events with appropriate levels of play. A specific Junior tournament is run based on age groups.

Each tournament is run based on a predefined schedule for the entire draw over 4 to 5 days typically starting Thursday or Friday evenings (afternoons for Juniors) throughout the weekend and ending Monday or Tuesday evenings (afternoons for Juniors).

Match format and time are established by the Tournament Committee and scheduling will be in accordance with the rules for delivering a sanctioned tournament. 

Participants can sign up in Court Reserve (under Events - Active Event For Registration) for as many tournaments as they want and enjoy the thrill of some friendly competition! For inquiries, please contact tournaments@unionvilletennisclub.ca. Awards will be presented at our Year-End Event and Annual General Meeting.

Note: Juniors can participate in the Adult tournaments at the discretion of the Tournament Committee (e.g.: UTC intercounty team player, OTA ranking, etc.)

• Nominal registration fee to cover cost for balls and awards.

• balls will be supplied by the club.

• The tournament will run on a fixed and predefined schedule

• All participants are asked be available for the duration of the tournament

• In general, there are 3 levels : A / 4.5+, B / 4.0 and C / 3.5 for each of the tournament, please sign up your level accordingly.
