NBO VIP box and UTC logoed merchandise
Hello UTC community,
By now you are certainly aware that UTC is celebrating its 50th year throughout the year. We had a very successful kick-off on Opening Day with recognition from both the City of Markham and the Ontario Tennis Association.
We are now pleased to make you aware of 2 more ways you can participate in the celebrations.
VIP box National Bank Open (round of 16)
We have secured a special price from Tennis Canada for an 80 person VIP Box at the NBO in the afternoon of Sunday, August 3 (round of 16) which includes:
- tickets to the UTC VIP box
- a food and beverage package
- 40 reserved parking passes
The average price for a regular "no frills" ticket exceeds $160 plus tax. With the Tennis Canada discount, our cost for an "all-inclusive" ticket to our VIP Box is $115 plus tax for a total of $129.95.
We have already reached out to our UTC volunteers over the last 50 years who have played a role in building the club to its current level of success. Many will be participating.
We are now opening it up for any ADULT member to purchase a ticket. Please note that we are limiting it to ADULT members only and single ticket only per member to allow as many members as possible to join.
Spots are limited, first come, first served!

UTC logoed merchandise
We have acquired a limited quantity of special UTC logoed merchandise to commemorate the occasion and these items are available for sale to members. You may have seen these items on display in our trophy case in the clubhouse.

Nike jacket (suggested retail price $115, member price $80 plus tax) available in a limited number of ladies and mens sizes
Nike cap (suggested retail price $30, UTC member price $20 plus tax) available white or black
Blue collared shirt (UTC member price $25) available in a limited number of sizes
UTC mug (UTC member price $5)
These items can be viewed and tried on at the clubhouse upon request to the monitor.
To order:
a) send an email to merchandise@unionvilletennisclub.ca or
b) we will schedule a number of "UTC POP-UP STORE" dates when a UTC representative will be at the club to take your order. First one will be Wednesday, July 23, from 6pm to 8pm. Other dates and times will be posted at the club.
