UTC AGM announcement: Saturday January 24th, 2026

Dear UTC Members,

This email serves as a formal notice of UTC’s Annual General Meeting.

UTC’s Annual General Meeting will take place on Saturday January 24th at the Unionville Presbyterian Church (600 Village Pkwy, Unionville, ON L3R 6C2) at 2pm.
The AGM is a key event for our members to learn more about what and who makes UTC the great club that it is. It’s also an opportunity for members to ask questions and give feedback. A healthy club needs the support and interest of all its members in both big and small ways to continue to thrive and improve.

The Agenda for the day will be as follows:

  • Welcome address

  • Approval of 2024 AGM minutes

  • Director of Tennis report

  • Year-end reports

  • Treasurer’s report

  • 2026 Directors election

  • AGM adjournment

  • Question period

  • Awards presentation

The 2025 UTC Board is putting forward a proposed slate of directors for the 2026 tennis season as follows:

  • President - Jiunn Lam**

  • Vice-President - Arun Prasad**

  • Secretary - Amy Phung**

  • Treasurer - Harry Eaglesham**

  • IT Director - Jiunn Lam

  • Director of Operations - Harry Eaglesham

  • Membership Director - Tom Lin

  • Recreational Director - Michael Gannon

  • Teams Director - Nhan Nguyen

  • Events & Social Director - Lily Wong

  • Communications Director - Corina Cheng

  • Junior Programs Director - “Open position”

** The bylaws allow for alternative candidates to be nominated for these officer positions, provided the nomination is received in writing no later than ten days prior to the meeting. Such nominations can be sent to secretary@unionvilletennisclub.ca. Nominations for non-officer positions can be made at the AGM.
