IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO MEMBERS

Clay Courts Care

We are shocked to see that some members are playing on clay courts when signs on gates and messages on the noticeboard and orange cones on courts clearly indicate that they are not to be played on.

Be aware that offenders will be dealt with seriously by suspending booking privileges for one offense and suspending membership for a repeat offense.

Our clay courts need extra care and we need our members to understand that and respect the rules we have in place to protect them.

Members seeing violations are encouraged to report any incidents during unmonitored hours to operations@unionvilletennisclub.ca.

We appreciate your cooperation and assistance in this important matter.

Hoppers and Private Lessons

Our policy is that Hoppers/Ball Machines are only allowed on courts 8/9 with the divider,  when there are no lessons and during afternoon non-prime hours on Weekdays.  Courts 8/9 are currently under reconstruction and targeted to finish by the end of May in 2024. Hoppers/ball machines are prohibited until that time.

Only teaching pros approved by UTC’s Director of Tennis, Andy Sutton, are permitted to teach at UTC and on courts approved for that purpose. Members are not permitted to book courts to take private lessons.
