Club Opening, Teams Tryout and more
CLUB OPENING PLANS
We have had very nice weather in the first half of March. This has allowed some early work on our clay courts and the rebuilding of Courts 8 and 9. The weather outlook for the next couple of weeks is bleak, which makes our court readiness difficult to predict. Our Clubhouse opening is also weather dependent as it is tied to the turning on of water for drinking and washroom facilities.
In spite of this uncertainty, we are planning Nets Up for Saturday, March 30 from 9:30am to noon. Volunteers are needed! The more help, the sooner we can have you playing. Refreshments will be served, and student volunteer hours are available. Please let us know that we can count you in by sending an email to operations@unionvilletennisclub.ca.
TEAMS TRYOUTS
Calling all Tennis Enthusiasts, we are looking for you!
UTC is looking for members who are interested in playing competitively on one of our multiple intercounty teams. Tryouts will be held Saturday April 20th and Sunday April 21st. We have competitive teams for everyone: Juniors, Ladies, 55+ and Mixed Intercounty.
Check our website for tryout dates and times. If you are interested please register for the tryout.
Please note: due to the significant number of participants at our tryouts in the past, priority to join the team will be given to UTC members.

MONITOR POSITIONS AVAILABLE
We are looking for people to join our team of Monitors. Monitors' duties include maintaining the courts and clubhouse in safe and good operating condition, advising members of and enforcing club policies, assisting program organizers, and helping to ensure the members enjoyment of the club.
Our Monitors are typically either College/University students seeking seasonal employment or adults looking for part time employment, but we welcome applicants with all backgrounds and motivations. If you or someone you know is interested, please send an email and resume to operations@unionvilletennisclub.ca.

Looking to improve your tennis skills this season? UTC’s team of Tennis Pros are here to help. Whether you are 5 or 55 we have something of interest for you. Visit our website for information on lessons, camps and a variety of recreational programs that will suit your needs.
SENIOR LEAGUE
The senior league has been revived and is now looking for additional members 55 and up.
