Tennis ROCKS at UTC
OTA and Tennis Canada have partnered with ICTA (Intercounty Tennis Association) to offer 5 one-day Tennis ROCKS events across the GTA. There will be 3 events in July and 2 in August.
Tennis ROCKS will be at UTC on Saturday July 15!
The winners of each event will have earned the opportunity to play in the finals at Sobeys Stadium in late September/early October.
Tennis ROCKS is an one day junior team doubles event consisting of 2 divisions (each team is guaranteed 3 matches):
All Stars (U14/U18) - a team consisting of 4 to 6 players with a minimum of two U14 and two U18 players
SuperStars (U12) - a team consisting of 4 to 6 players with a minimum of four U12 players
For the UTC event on July 15, the entry fee is $60 per team. Each player will be provided with lunch (food and drinks) and receive a medal!
The OTA smash cage will be set up and some fun activities will also be hosted. ALL juniors are encouraged to participate in these fun/competitive events.
If your junior is interested, please connect with other juniors from the club and contact teams@unionvilletennisclub.ca or our Junior Programs Director once you have 4-6 team members. If there are juniors who are unable to form a team on your own, please reach out as well and we can help facilitate the process.
